Should I Choose 14K or 18K Gold?
This is an interesting Question. Some of you might not really give much thought to this but when it comes down to purchasing something, you just might find yourself thinking about it. Especially when that special something is offered in 14K and 18K Gold as an option.
Many people always ask me which is Best to choose aside from the Price differences. I say aside from the price, because that is obvious to someone that 18K Gold is more expensive but does that really make it better then 14K Gold?
My opinion is that Both type of Karat Golds are the Same in Importance and Quality. How So? In the following I will attempt to explain my belief, but this is in no way a Fact or the law as they say. Everyone has there own opinion on this matter and no one can say they are right or wrong.
14K Gold is or More Correctly (14K 585) is 58.5% Pure Gold and the rest 41.5% is a mixture of other metal(s). 18K Gold on the other hand is 75% Pure Gold and approximately 25% mixture of other metal(s).
So just from what I stated above, someone could easily say "Hey guys, more Gold is better!" but then there is that other guy that say "Yea, but 14K Gold has more non-gold metal which makes it stronger"
Gets a little confusing now? Well, Both Answares would be right! Yes, 18K Gold has more Gold Content and thus more valuable, thus more expensive BUT with 14K Gold you get more Non-Gold content and that Truly makes it a stronger Jewelry.
Gold by itself is a soft metal easily bendable. That is why you rarely will see 24K Solid Gold Jewelry made in the various jewelry that you will find 14K Gold. In fact more 14K Gold Jewelry is produced Worldwide then any other Karat Type of Gold!
I'm not saying that 18K is bad and that it can't pass the test of Life's Hard Hits. It has the Strength to Last for sure 25 years without a problem but 14K Gold can go beyond that due to its higher durability.
But then Again 18K is more Gold and for someone who is looking to spend there money on GOLD, maybe the 18K Gold might just be the Better Option.

What do 2017’s most recognizable tech gadgets, hair hues, accessories, and even book covers have in common? Aside from their shared ubiquitousness, the most sought-after items are cloaked in the soft glow of rose gold. Placed squarely between oft-icy blanched white gold and warm, sophisticated yellow, rose gold is at once modern, romantic, and somehow unexpected—a candy-coated surprise in the midst of often impersonal metallics.
Of course, the color itself is nothing new. The luminous shade has lent its whimsical brand of shimmer to jewelry since its inception in nineteenth-century Russia, when Carl Faberg茅 (of Faberg茅 egg fame) opted to blend yellow gold with copper to create the alchemic, blush-toned hybrid, originally called “Russian gold.” Cartier’s use of the composite in the opulent tense of the 1920s cemented its popularity within the market, and rose gold has since sprinkled jewelry counters with welcome flecks of pink.
The shade was given full permission to shine this year as one of the first-ever duos of Pantone’s Color of the Year 2017: Rose Quartz. The subtle pink hue plays off the soothing appeal of its partner Serenity (a lilac-imbued baby blue), and both colors pair well with similarly subdued shades across the color wheel.
“It's hard to dislike a color that you will naturally look good in,” Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, tells Allure. “With pink and any of the rose colors, whether used in a ring, a piece of jewelry, or something you wear around the face, it throws this wonderful glow onto the skin.” Which is probably why the color's influence has spread to iPhones, ros茅 wine, and even dye jobs (think Elle Fanning’s dusty rose lengths back in July). When used on the face, the hue's natural warmth lends an instant, youthful bloom to complexions, which means the color of your iPhone now doubles as an above-the-neck beauty enhancer.

How Natural Diamonds Are Created
Diamond is a substance that is made of carbon and has a crystal structure. In nature, diamonds are formed deep inside the earth, under high pressure and temperature.
What is remarkable is that these beautiful stones you see in all kinds of jewelry are actually billions of years old.
How Synthetic Diamonds Are Made
In contrast to natural diamonds, their synthetic counterparts are created in laboratory conditions.
High temperature and pressure are used to mimic the conditions present during the formation of diamonds in nature.
Synthetic diamonds are also known as lab-grown, man-made, cultivated, created, or cultured diamonds.
Are Synthetic Diamonds Fake?
A lot of people incorrectly assume that synthetic diamonds are not real diamonds. However, this is not true. Although synthetics are not formed naturally, they have the same chemical composition and physical properties as natural diamonds.
So, synthetic diamonds are not fake, and their artificial origin has nothing to do with the fact that they are real diamonds in terms of structure.
Synthetic Diamonds Are Different from Simulated Diamonds
Many people seem to confuse synthetic diamonds with simulated diamonds (or diamond simulants).
Simulated stones, however, are not made of the same materials as the real thing – they only look similar, but their chemical structure and physical properties are different.
An example of a stone used as a diamond simulant is cubic zirconia.
Differences Between Natural and Synthetic Diamonds
So, if natural and synthetic diamonds have the same makeup, are there any differences?
Synthetic diamonds do differ from natural stones, but not as far as their fundamental structure is concerned. The main difference that can be observed is in the clarity of the stones.
Whereas most natural diamonds have internal flaws that occurred during the stones’ formation, synthetics tend to be cleaner.
This is because they are created through a controlled process designed to minimize defects, and as a result, there are fewer flaws in the crystal structure of synthetics.

Identifying Synthetic Diamonds
It is very hard even for an experienced jeweler to tell a synthetic diamond from a natural one. Usually, one needs special equipment to establish with certainty whether a stone is lab-grown.
It is highly unlikely for someone to be able to tell that a synthetic diamond is artificial just by looking at it with the naked eye, or even with a loupe.
The best way for a consumer to find out whether a stone is natural or created is to ask for its certificate (you shouldn’t buy diamonds that are not accompanied by such a document).
Diamond certificates issued by the G.I.A. (Gemological Institute of America), for example, indicate if the stone is synthetic.
Advantages of Synthetic Diamonds
One of the biggest advantages to buying a synthetic diamond is that compared with a similar natural stone, the created one is cheaper.
When you also consider the fact that synthetic stones usually don’t have large and visible inclusions, you realize that you can get a flawless or nearly flawless diamond at a lower price than what you would pay for a naturally clean stone.
